How to Read the Scaling Section¶
This guide explains the Map View Summary panel at the bottom of the Layer Drawer.
Concepts¶
1. What the Panel Shows¶
The panel shows the current state of the map view:
- Zoom: the current zoom level
- Subsampling rate: the current approximate rendering fidelity, when shown
- Rotation: the current map bearing in degrees
- Pitch: the current tilt angle in degrees
- Flip: whether horizontal flip is on or off
- X: the current visible X-coordinate range
- Y: the current visible Y-coordinate range
2. When to Use It¶
Use the panel when you want to:
- check the current map orientation
- compare exact views between sessions
- verify the visible coordinate range before export or screenshot
