How to Set the Map View via the Scaling Section¶
This guide explains how to adjust the map by editing values in the Map View Summary panel.
1. Open the Panel¶
Open the Layer Drawer. The Map View Summary panel is shown at the bottom.
2. Edit a Value¶
Double-click a value to edit it directly.
Editable values include:
- Zoom
- Rotation
- Pitch
- X
- Y
Press Enter or click outside the input to apply the change.
3. What Each Edit Changes¶
- Zoom changes the map magnification
- Rotation changes the map bearing
- Pitch changes the tilt angle
- X changes the visible horizontal coordinate range
- Y changes the visible vertical coordinate range
4. Notes¶
- If no layer is loaded, direct editing is disabled.
- Editing X or Y changes the map bounds rather than a single point value.
