What information is shown for a factor layer in CELL type?¶
When inspecting a spot on a factor Cell layer (e.g., cell segmentation results from Xenium Ranger or Space Ranger), the Inspector Drawer displays detailed metrics to help you understand the properties of that specific cell.
The inspector information is organized into the following logical sections:
-
Layer
- Layer Name: The name of the layer being inspected.
- Layer Type: The type of the layer being inspected (e.g., Cell).
-
Header
- Cell ID: The unique identifier for the specific cell.
- Top Factor: The factor assigned to this cell with the highest probability.
- Color: The color code associated with the top factor.
- Name/ID: The name or ID of the top factor.
- Probability: The probability score (0-1) indicating confidence in this assignment.
-
Basic Metrics
- Coordinates: The spatial X and Y coordinates (in µm) of the cell's centroid.
- Count: The total transcript count detected within this cell.
-
Factor Probability Table A detailed table listing the probabilities of all assigned factors for this cell in a descending order. Only non-zero probabilities are shown.
