What are Gallery Mode, Focus Mode, and Dual-Focus Mode?¶
In a CartoScope multi-sample session, there are three spatial navigation and viewport layout modes: Gallery Mode, Focus Mode, and Dual-Focus Mode. These modes control how multiple tissue slides are displayed, organized, and synchronized in the central map workspace.
View Mode Options

| Dual-Focus Mode | Displays two selected samples side-by-side in a split view. | Camera pan, zoom, and rotation are locked between the two active slots. | Direct side-by-side comparative analysis between two specific slides (e.g. Control vs. Treated). |
