Map View Summary¶
The Map View Summary panel displays real-time parameters for the active map viewport, including zoom level, subsampling rate, rotation angle, tilt pitch, horizontal flip status, and visible spatial coordinate bounds.
Interface¶
The Map View Summary is accessible in both single-sample and multi-sample exploration modes:
- Single-Sample Sessions: Located at the bottom of the Layer Drawer.
- Multi-Sample Sessions: Located at the bottom-left corner of each standard slot on the Multi-Sample Map as an expandable control drawer.
| Parameter | Editable | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Zoom | Yes | Current map zoom level. |
| Subsampling Rate | No | Thinning rate applied when rendering dense transcript distributions. |
| Rotation | Yes | Current bearing rotation angle in degrees. |
| Pitch | Yes | Current canvas tilt angle in degrees. |
| Flip | No | Indicates whether horizontal flip is currently enabled (On / Off). |
| X Bounds | Yes | Minimum and maximum visible X-coordinate spatial extent [min, max]. |
| Y Bounds | Yes | Minimum and maximum visible Y-coordinate spatial extent [min, max]. |
Actions
Most numeric values (Zoom, Rotation, Pitch, X Bounds, Y Bounds) can be double-clicked to directly edit their values:
- Double-click the numeric value in the panel.
- Enter the desired value.
- Press Enter or click outside the input field to apply the change.
Warning
Direct numeric editing is disabled when no dataset layer is active.
